What
is Intuition?
Intuition means many things to many people.
To some it might be knowing who's on the phone before answering it. To others it might mean a small voice in their heads that lets them know when something is wrong or right, when they're making a good, or bad, decision. It can be all of these things and more. Using the tarot cards, reading tea-leaves, dowsing for supplements, simply just 'knowing' where your car is parked in a strange town.
There are many methods people use to access their intuition. Some do it consciously and practice and get better whilst others just seem to have a great natural ability in one or more areas.
But, notice what I said in the last sentence...'methods people use to access their intuition.' The tarot, voices in the head, ' knowingness' are only methods of accessing something greater than these things.
It is that 'something greater' which is what intuition really is, in my opinion.
Intuition appears to be something which we access for answers to our questions. 'Which horse will win?', 'Who should I go out with tonight?', 'What's the best restaurant in this town?' are some the types of questions which we ask of our intuition. So it would seem that intuition is a source of knowledge. Of ALL knowledge, in fact, because there seems to be no limit to the questions we can ask or to the answers we can receive. This limitless source is, then, intuition?
