Yes, I do receive guidance from my higher self, and you could interpret it as hearing voices, though the experience would be more of just knowing or receiving guidance, though a process similar to dreaming. That is to say, it would be much more multi-dimensional, using all the five senses simultaneously and operating on many levels of consciousness at the same time.

For many years, I have had the experience while falling to sleep of witnessing my thoughts forming into plans for the next day. This process seems to work best at the junction point between waking and sleeping. When the conscious mind starts to release some of its limitations and expands into its multi-dimensional nature at the onset of sleep; as I relax and start to tune into the universe, which we are all a part of, I receive guidance; this can often be like someone talking to me. However, I often have other senses as well coming in, like vision, smells and tastes. I feel this is a natural process, which we are all capable of as we relax our individual ego self into the universal Self of expanded consciousness.

When we go into deep relaxation during sleep, we release our concerns with small events of the day and our individual life force merges with the universal life force. During this process of expansion of awareness, we receive guidance via clairaudient, clairvoyant and clairsentient means. I also find I have conversations with people who are helping in my work telepathically. When we relax and are still conscious as we drift into sleep, we watch our individual mind merge with the universal mind, where all our individual consciousnesses coalesce, and energy flows. Messages are carried automatically between all the people who help with the work; I am just a silent witness to the process. I see all my problems of the day being resolved and worked out by the universal mind. I witness all the resources I need being drawn to me; I receive intuitive instructions about where to find things and the people I need to ask. It is an automatic system of flow of knowledge to achieve my goals.
